The World's Best Beaches

All beaches in Seychelles are public. On Mahe there are 69 beaches and coves to visit.  We start with the top 10 must see beaches on Mahe, from those closest to Panorama:

North:    Sunset Beach, L'Ilot beach, Carana beach
Take the bus on the beach side, heading north.

Anse Major & Baie Ternay Marine Park
You can walk to Anse Major or take Happiness Taxi Boat there and onwards to Baie Ternay

For the rest take the bus to Victoria then connect to your destination or hire a car.

East:   Anse Royale
West:  Port Launay Marine Park, Petite Anse (Four Seasons)
South: Takamaka, Intendence (attention strong currents)

A full day Island Tour of Mahe Itinerary is suggested below.

Tropical Rainforests & Top places

We highly recommend the Sans Soucis Route with a stop at Mission Lodge for the breathtaking view from the ruins & optional visit to the Tea Plantation. Then head down to Port Launay Marine Park via Port Glaud. Leaving there head along the west coast through the fishing village of Anse Boileau, Anse La Mouche to La Gaulette Restaurant and the cove nearby for an afternoon siesta. Then optional Petite Anse (think The Beach movie) and on to Takamaka and Intendence (attention strong currents, check warnings). On the way back via Anse Royale, via the Airport and flat road, easy driving at the end of the day to Victoria and back to Beau Vallon.

Explore Mahe Island or Go Island Hopping

Panorama Guesthouse & Apartments is an ideal base from which to experience the beautiful Beau Vallon Bay, explore the main Island of Mahé (all beaches are public)
or island hop to nearby islands.

We will be happy to recommend and arrange day trips for you with licenced operators during your stay with us. You can also follow our Blog coming soon for tips with planning ahead.
