The pure joy of our islander way of Simple Living. This is our ethos. This is where we find our happiness. Despite decades of pressure to be something else, we stayed firm in our roots, reflected in our charming little, big heart guesthouse. Ironically, this is what many businesses are now starting to return to! As such, living in harmony with nature, sustainability is an instinctual part of our being. We are on the lower end of consumption, buy local, we reuse what we can or pass it on and we recycle as much as possible in Seychelles:
1. We collect all bottles plastic/glass and drink cans. These are regularly brought to the recycling station. We do not offer any of these for sale, thereby not contributing further to waste. Instead we provide an alternative glass bottle drinking water daily.
2. We collect all plastic cleaning materials and other packaging. Although we are moving away from chemicals in general, even vinegar comes in a plastic bottle! These is picked up every few months and recycled into objects for sale, including your accommodation Key Ring. Let us know if you would like to purchase some like these to take back with you as gifts.
3. We believe in sharing, growing together with our community. We don't try to do it all. Breakfast for example, is optional on request. You can enjoy with us or alternatives near by. We do not meet guests at the Airport, this is reserved strictly for those providing this service. We do not run excursions, this is booked with licenced operators. Some examples of how we stand by fairness and sharing, whilst not compromising on quality partners we recommend.
4. Awareness of Code of Conduct. Seychelles is home to some of the most unique fauna and flora on the planet. Most of which live freely in their natural environment. As her guardians, it is our responsibility to ensure this is protected to the end. And as such, it is necessary that our visitors are aware of the code of conduct and respectful of our fragile eco-systems. We thank you for your love.
5. A greener stay! In honour of our pristine environment, we chose a green building with material made using eco-friendly processes. Housing our Apartments, which use solar water heating, LED lighting and water saving. All of our accommodation offers cross-ventilation and fans for fresh air and natural cooling. We promote eco-friendly activities in the area such as swimming, snorkelling, nature walks & hiking. Ever mindful of nature, we have a minimum stay of 3 nights.
Come stay with us! Enjoy an authentic Seychelles stay at Panorama Guesthouse & Apartments Beau Vallon Beach, Closer to nature & community.
